Hydraulic type of mold clamping device structure

According to the different ways to achieve the clamping force, the structure of the clamping device usually is hydraulic and hydraulic-mechanical.


Hydraulic clamping device


Single-cylinder direct-acting hydraulic mold clamping device is currently mainly used on micro injection molding machines. The main function of the clamping cylinder is to use the hydraulic pressure in the cylinder to push and lock the template. The front and rear templates are supported by the tie rods and fastened by nuts to ensure that the mobile template moves forward and backward on the tie rods.


The characteristics of the hydraulic clamping device are as follows:

Large template spacing, large range of mold thickness variation.

The clamping force can be adjusted by adjusting the oil pressure. The clamping force can be read directly, which is easy to operate.

The moving template can stay anywhere in the stroke range, so it is very convenient to adjust the template spacing.

Parts can be self-lubricating and have low wear. } For injection molding machines with large clamping force, large clamping cylinders and high oil pressure are required, which is not good for sealing and manufacturing of the hydraulic system.

There are many pipelines in the hydraulic system, it is difficult to ensure no leakage, so the stability of the clamping force is poor, which affects the product quality.
