Classification of injection molding machine

1. Classified by plasticizing method

First, the plunger injection molding machine pushes the molten plastic in the barrel forward through the reciprocating movement of the plunger in the barrel, and injects the mold through the nozzle through the shunt shuttle. Its plasticization mainly depends on the heat provided by the heater outside the barrel. Due to the poor thermal conductivity of plastic, the plasticity of the inner and outer layers of the material in the barrel is not uniform. Therefore, the plunger injection molding machine should not be used to mold plastic parts screw injection molding machines with poor fluidity, strong heat sensitivity, and excessive injection volume. Instead of a flat push plunger with a rotating screw in the barrel

The melt plasticizing and injection molding of the material in the barrel is completed by the screw. The screw can rotate and move back and forth in the barrel. The surface can play the functions of feeding, compacting, plasticizing and transmitting pressure.


2. Classification by appearance characteristics

The vertical injection molding machine has a mold clamping device and an axis of the injection device arranged vertically in a line.

(The injection volume is generally less than 60 cm3)

For horizontal injection molding, the axis of the mold clamping device and the injection device is aligned horizontally.

(Injection volume 60-60,000 cm3)

The angle-clamping device of the angle injection molding machine and the axis of the injection device are perpendicular to each other.
