A universal injection molding machine mainly includes three parts: injection system, mold clamping system and hydraulic control system.
Injection system
The function of the injection system is to uniformly plasticize a certain amount of plastic into a molten state within a certain time, and inject it into the mold cavity at a sufficient pressure and speed. After the injection is completed, the melt in the mold cavity can be maintained and fed. It is mainly composed of plasticized parts (including nozzle, barrel and screw), hopper (including drying device), screw transmission device, injection device, injection seat and injection seat moving cylinder.
The geometry and size of the screw for injection molding machine. The screw is an important part of the injection device. The main parameters are as follows:
Diameter and stroke. The maximum injection volume is determined by the diameter of the screw and the maximum stroke. The ratio of stroke to diameter is generally 3 to 5. If the ratio is too large and the stroke is too long, the length of the working part of the screw will be reduced, affecting the plasticizing quality of the material. On the contrary, the screw stroke is small, in order to ensure the injection volume, the diameter of the screw and the cylinder must be increased, which increases the power consumption.
